Boogie1488 is the definition of an attention whore, any attention he gets heโs fine with having given that itโs the only way heโs gonna stay relevant.
Good things did come out of the Holocaust though. Are we gonna pretend that the mass industrialization and the arms race didn't have positive, lasting effects?
No one's saying that we should have another, are people really unable to separate those ideas?
It was the first time the world started to really look into it's own hate and bigotry. The events of the holocaust definitely influenced the passage of the Civil Rights Act in America. We now as a society are more dedicated to embracing all people because of what that event showed us.
Reddit sees things in black and white, there's no middle ground for them basically ever, any controversial comment (and not just some bullshit left v right debate) they won't bother to consider
Boogie specifically mentioned health science being the reason good things came from the Holocaust. Virtually none of the medical 'research' performed in the Holocaust could be used afterwards, mostly due to poor methodology/recordkeeping and nonsensical experimentation (like injecting dye in patient's eyes or sewing twins together) that served little or no purpose.
He or his teacher is confusing which Axis member we got that info from. "Health Science" was how the US benefited from research at Unit 731 in Japan, since that hellhole was ostensibly dedicated to biological warfare.

This guy's got to be an attention whore and a firm believer of "no publicity is bad publicity."

He literally tries to court controversy in the vain hope that one of his Tweets will become viral and revitalise his dying career.

"Some good things came out of the shoah" is the most radically centrist thing I've read all day.

Those things came from WW2, not the Holocaust.
The only technology that was advanced by the Holocaust were death camps and gas chambers.

Also, it can be discussed if it's actually a good thing, but US stopped their forced sterilisation programs after it.
