When these people actually start to live sustainable lifestyles rather than using their privilege and massive piles of cash to lecture me and tell me I’m evil for not using my comparably meager earnings to save the earth and voting shit in that lowers my quality of life maybe I’ll give a shit. Hell im probably pretty good to the environment considering how little of anything I consume compared to most people in my age and income bracket in America. Hell, outside of social drinking literally all I drink is tap water.

Pretty based. I share a similar view, I’m actually super minimalist and pick up trash when I hike/kayak etc. But I keep it to myself bc I wouldn’t want to appear to be anywhere near same as these hypocrite eco chuds.

I am going through a very messy divorce. Despite my username, with the help of therapy I’ve come to realize the failure of my marriage was in no way 100% my fault. I played my part, to be sure, but my marriage was doomed to fail from the start.

I’m not sorry it happened. I’m grateful for my experiences. But I am most grateful for my children.

One thing I know about myself is that I am a great father. I’m not perfect, far from it in fact. I make mistakes all the time but that doesn’t matter. I love my kids unconditionally and they know it. My only regret is that this divorce has hurt them, but there is no getting around that.

Last night and today they were with their mom. I gave them a great Christmas. They asked their elf if he could ask Santa to come early because they wouldn’t be with me. Santa did and it was just like Christmas morning. They didn’t miss out on a thing with me.

Despite that I sit here in tears. I miss my kids. I’m so sorry that they can’t be with both their parents today.
