I’m a white person living in sweden and i’m honestly unironically OK with becoming a minority in Sweden. There is no such thing as “ethnic nationality” you become a swede when you gain citizenship and once you do you are as swedish as a white person who’s been here from 10 generations, the culture of sweden would change yes, but that is the price to pay for saving refugee children from war-torn areas, yes the majority was not children, if there is at least one child, then i think the life of a child is a hundred times more important than a malleable and fragile thing as “social norms”
Besides i do not believe the culture would even change that much, your kids may have to learn Araabic in school but i think learning a historically significant language spoken by 430 million people is very important anyway, i already personally learnt the language and I’m a full-blooded Ashkenazi Jew!. Anyway, i’m tired of how unapologetically racist this country is, the only reason i haven’t leaved is because i am avid in advocating for integration, once i think the society has accepted the idea of refugees (slim chance) i honestly plan on moving out because this country has drained me
