We have seen TONS of posts from vulnerable populations talking about how this sub is a source of support and humor in a dark time. Irony and dirtbagism aside, taking away that support without warning was not okay.

We have seen TONS of posts from vulnerable populations talking about how this sub is a source of support and humor in a dark time. Irony and dirtbagism aside, taking away that support without warning was not okay.
You can say I'm being silly, or humorless or reactionary. Whatever. I love the show and I love this community. Perhaps you don't line up with all beliefs the racists have but still want that rush from violence, so you join Antifa. Antifa isn't racist or antisemitic, and there's no comparison with mosque shootings or anything like that. However, decent chunk of its members probably don't care as much about the cause, but are in for the sense of group belonging and importance/significance (I'm making a difference, right side of the history, that kind of shit). It's among these groups you're most likely to find either tankies, or racist/anti-semitic etc. people that are prone to doing stupid shit, but try to hide in to remain in their support group.
On top of that, they should realize every time they attack someone who isn't undeniably alt right/Nazi/fascist, they give ammo to all right wingers who want to spin the violent left narrative. This guy is a great example - Portland Antifa keeps calling him a fascist, trying to stop him from recording, I think he got punched or "assulted" on some occasions too, and he has all of this on video (plus Antifa being shitty to others too). They constantly get provoked and do dumb shit instead of minding their business and ignoring everyone trying to derail them. The focus should be on protesting instead of starting fights, spraying people with pepper spray, taunting the cops etc., because that's just ineffective and makes you look bad.
