My god I just checked your post history. There is no shaming you. This is literally your life. Just imagine how much you could accomplish if you weren’t addicted to Reddit. You’re making a difference, though!

Scathing.

rude but fair

”Hehe, dumb poop boy, so stup... wait, he’s getting DEF FRETS? Oh my god, I’m so sorry, I take it all back!”

Exactly as planned.

things a gamer has never said

It is semantics and the semantics in this case are important to distinguishing between threats and not threats.

"I hope you die." is not a threat.

"I'm going to come to your house and kill you." is a threat.

When we're talking about threats, we need to make a clear distinction over what is and is not a threat. The semantics in this case are important.

What I see here is faux internet intellectualism. You saw someone else be dismissive when they pointed out that a debate had devolved to an argument over semantics. Unfortunately, either that person was also wrong about the importance of the semantics of the given situation and you took from a bad teacher, or the person was correct and you didn't actually understand why.

Crying "semantics" when you want to be dismissive of a point being made without addressing the point is as fallacious as crying "ad hominem" when someone insults you at the end of a stated argument. It doesn't actually mean anything other than "I'm going to pull this smart person word out and act like it actually means something here because I don't like what you have to say but I can't actually refute it."

this pasta made me go cross eyed

Death threats are obviously horrible and I'd never condone them.

But

Yeah, death threats are never okay but

Yeah death threats are bad. But

Death threats are never okay but

Death threats mean nothing.

death threats isn't half as big a deal

the person absolutely does not deserve death threats. With that being said

yeah death threats bad, that goes without saying, but

Day of the Joystick cannot come soon enough.

😤😤😤

Gamers shouldn't be allowed to vote.

They targeted Skyrim mods. Skyrim mods.

Imagine falling for the death threat meme in 2019

Told people he doesn't owe them anything after accepting literally hundreds of thousands of dollars from them

but he doesn't owe anyone anything. they aren't promising a product and donations are to support a service. don't like the service stop paying for it.

this isn't a difficult concept 🤷‍♀️
