The only disappointing thing about the last season of Game of Thrones is we didn't really get any juicy drama about it on reddit.

It is not that there isn't a lot of whinging, just that it is monotonous. Past thrones drama was a vast palette of hues of outrage.

Fuck, when the Hound came back on the show in 2016, there was 5-6 front page posts that came from /r/CleganeBowl. We got so many crying kneelers complaining about spoilers.

Actual CleganeBowl happened in Episode 5. No big deal. It looked like what a heavy metal video should look like - if metal bands after Metallica had real money. But no big deal.

Some episodes leaked in 2015 and a huge rift happened over whether the Thrones subs would allow them to be discussed. Every damn episode of Season 8 leaked in some capacity.

That's because the leaks were so brazenly stupid that no one bothered to troll the other subreddits.

Trools knew the pain for fans would be maximized by letting it be a surprise.
