If you have a dog he only "loves" you because dogs have evolved to be submissive to the pack leader. What you're interpreting as love is actually just your dog being a pussy
The thing that really gets me the most about this is that the guy was WARNED the dog was cat aggressive. He was told to his fucking face that this dog had previously killed multiple animals and he still chose to ignore that.
This is just pure negligence and laziness on his part. He claimed to be monitoring them but couldn't even be fucked to take the dog with him in the bathroom so it wouldn't be unsupervised. It just shows how little concern he had for the cat's wellbeing and general safety. All of this was COMPLETELY avoidable and it just shows he shouldn't have a cat aggressive dog, let alone a pet to begin with.
I too am a cat lover so this kind of shit really sets me off so please excuse the slightly lengthy rant.
