lol, amusing turn of phrase. I just got off the phone with an old friend of mine, she's from brazil of italian decent, and she speaks 6 languages. But, she also likes to drink, and will sometimes lapse into babbling; mixing various languages together without meaning to or realizing she's doing it. I can mostly understand the Portuguese, spanish and french, but I can tell when she lapses into german and it definitely sounds barbaric in comparison.

AfD is a fairly new rightwing party that has seen some success in the last few years but didn't really change in this election, Die Grünen are the green party which gained a lot of seats and replaced the social democrats as second most popular, NPD is unapologetic neonazis only voted for by a special brand of retards, Die Linke is the left party and hasn't seen significant change in their results in forever.

Die Linke is actually technically the descendant of the east German Commies. Mixed in with some hard left defectors from the western SDP. They earn like exactly 10% like clockwork every election, it's almost boring how little change there is in their results.

Really nothing changed in the German elections. People just swapped Green and SPD. Trying to pretend to themselves that the center left isn't dead and that the Greens really are any different.
