It is a bit weird, Ive never met a girl that has anything even close to an interest in video games.

I've met a number of girls who have an interest in video games, but most of them are as bad if not worse than their male counterparts when it comes to toxicity and blatant weeb/nerd behavior irl. Their gamer identity comes before their female identity, and goddamn do they lean hard into the identity they chose to put forward.

Seems like the women who put being a woman before video games don't usually care much about video games in the first place, and just see it as another battleground of idpol. I've only met a few of that type, and they're often only casually interested in video games at best, and mostly play single player artsy games. However, they still think they should have an equal say in what AAA publishers are creating, despite the only AAA title they own being Overwatch, and only that one because of the cartoony style and casual mechanics.

My biggest concern with the game is that CD Projekt Red simply isn't up to the task of getting the story(and gameplay) themes right. A huge part of that is is rooted in concerns surrounding gender, class, and other social issues that should be a massive part of any decent Cyberpunk RPG being made in 2019
