I did more research when I looked it up a while back, but a quick search finds this page by the Washington Post that shows 12% of people killed by police so far in 2019 are black. Black people commit something like 40% of the crime, don't really care enough to look that up.

Interestingly, that means that they're actually slightly underrepresented even when you just look at total population, as Wikipedia puts blacks at 12.6% of the US. Do more research, I just spent 2 minutes on this for your lazy ass, but yeah. The narrative collapses as soon as you start looking up numbers. It's entirely emotional propaganda.
