I was diagnosed when I was 11 (stopped when I was 15), and this type of rationalization is similar to what would go on in my head. I am not a medical professional, i’m just stating my opinion.

OCD has two components: Obsessive thoughts and Compulsive behavior. The obsessions are disturbing thoughts that produce anxiety, and the compulsions are what one does to temporarily calm this anxiety.

When I was a kid, I would have disturbing thoughts pop in my head like “What if i grabbed that knife and killed my mom?”. My rational mind would obviously say “Chris, you would never do that,” and I know it is something I’d never consider. Yet, my irrational mind would tell myself “you’re so f***ed up for thinking that, what is stopping you? What if you hurt the person you love? You’re a bad person, you just thinking that thought shows you have the capability to do that.” I knew that these thoughts of me having no control over what I did were irrational, but that’s what OCD is. It’s very hard to explain to someone without the disorder, but it’s a constant battle between rational thoughts and irrational fears.

The compulsions for me would be telling my parents “Mom, i’d never do this, but thoughts keep coming to my head to stab you. I’d never do anything like that ever, I know I wouldn’t, but the fact that I even had that scenario pop into my head is driving me crazy.” That’s when I got evaluated and was diagnosed.

(This may sound like schizophrenia, but the difference between the two is that schizophrenics do not realize that the thoughts are irrational, while people with OCD do.)

That is very parallel to what he’s saying here. He had obsessive thoughts that he would rape his girlfriend and that he had no control over what he did. He probably drove himself crazy, constantly contemplating the sporadic thought as a sign that he doesn’t have control over himself.

So his compulsions was to explain to his girlfriend these things, and him repeating that he is scared he might do it one day and that he is so sorry shows the battle between the rational and irrational. I’m sure it was very scary for her to read, and disturbing for all of us.

However, the physical actions that he took are not excusable. I never picked up a knife when I would have these thoughts, Id just drive myself crazy. Him raping/physically assaulting her is not a compulsion, it’s a crime.

P.S. I didn’t mean to write this about me, just thought it could add insight and a little bit of understanding to one reason he could’ve been sending those texts.

What I gathered from the messages is that Michael seems to be a really horny teenager who has a rape fetish (and possibly a sex addition, though I’m not trying to diagnose anything). Chey continuously says Michael deserves better than her, which she has been manipulated to truly believe, and Michael obviously manipulated her into sexual situations she was not comfortable with. When she denied his requests, he made her feel like it was her fault and that she did something wrong rather than him taking responsibility for overstepping boundaries (hence her thinking she is not good enough for him). That’s the key, making her feel and think that she is always the one in the wrong. These are PRIME examples of gaslighting. This kind of manipulation makes people question their own thoughts, feelings, and sense of reality, and it is absolutely disgusting. The entire message thread is laced with this kind of abuse.

A lot of people have been talking about the rape stuff and the sexual assault (which, don’t get me wrong, is very important and should be talked about), but I think we should also be calling out this kind of emotional abuse and manipulation because it is so harmful and happens way too often.

I read all Discord DMs, using that to prove anything is basically stabbing him. Slazo admits if his uncontrolled wills and somehow from that you go to rape, abuse and sexuallizing. He literally says he hates it and describes it as annoying.

Personally, I'm going to wait to unsubscribe until more evidence comes out because DMs on Discord and Instagram can easily be faked. I'm not saying I don't believe her, I'm just neutral right now because I'm not completely sure if the evidence is real. I can see it going either way.

Hey OP I've been reading the comments on this post and you seem to be aware that Slazo was 17 at the time and his GF was 15 at the time.

Please make an edit that removes "underage" from the title as well as a section that claifies the misinformation you're actively spreading, people are wrongfully calling him a pedo because of this post and other posts like it.

I haven't liked Slazo for a long time. Call me cringe but I disliked him for the "cringe (insert fandom here) tik tok/musically reaction" because despite having the resources to do so he didn't even blur their names than expected his fans not to go and hate on these people some of which were 14 at the time. Due to his laziness or recklessness, multiple people were attacked for cosplaying or just making videos they enjoyed. A lot of them got worsened depression or deactivated altogether. I personally thought at the very least that wasn't okay to do and have avoided his channel since.

The drama between them happened a couple years back when they were both awkward teenagers trying to figure out their relationship. They were both underage.
