Denmark recently had an election. Henrik Sass Larsen, a Social Democratic dilf politician, was nowhere to be seen during the election.

Den Korte Radioavis is a satirical podcast, led by two dudes, one of whom dresses up as a tranny during the podcast. They're known for occasionally doing some weird shit, e.g. "pranking" a woman by telling her that a truck of peace drove into her restaurant and killed someone. During the election, someone claimed in the podcast that she's heard rumors that Henrik Sass Larsen has gotten himself a lover - the 29 year old gay politician Alexander Grandt that noone gives a shit about - and that is the reason as to why he seemingly disappeared from politics.

Two days later Henrik Sass Larsen announces that he's severely depressed and is leaving politics.

All of this is blowing up now for some reason. A reporter and the CEO of the company that produces the podcast literally just spent 20 minutes on the news discussing it. Countless politicians and journalists are sperging out online and claiming that the "accusations" made in the satirical podcast were horrible. The CEO apologized for mentioning the name of Alexander Grandt but not for joking about Henrik Sass Larsen's having a male lover, stating that taking offense to accusations of homosexuality is kinda low-key homophobic.
