In the new Avengers movie, Tony Stark flies around in his Iron Man suit. During the climax of the movie, he turns to the camera and farts in his iron suit, which elicits hearty guffaws from the moviegoers. He then throws a faceless villain to the ground in such a way that all but guarantees significant fractures of that person's skeletal system. Tony then breaks the fourth wall again to say "he's gonna feel that in the morning" and the audience erupts because Boomers/Gen Xers will literally NEVER stop laughing at that joke.
Still with me? Okay the issue is that Iron Man is singing along to a Jefferson Starship song playing throughout this montage but during one of the lyrics of the song, the word "ass" is briefly heard. Given that the little girl is only 7 and is standing by the broken and bloodied villain, the harsh word had to be censored. This is the only time a word is censored in the entire 4 hour and 29 minute runtime of this movie, and it noticeably messes with the pacing of the movie.
Fans are extremely upset that her presence as Iron Man's daughter caused them to miss out on a crescendo lyric from a 70s/80s ass rock band.
