ok so before i start with the story, you should know that the top mod, -reza, had been a bit problematic. he wasn’t an active user of Reddit or even an active mod, and never had many actions. Just modded once every couple months so he couldn’t get removed via r/redditrequest. In addition, he had tried to sell his mod spot before, and had demodded another moderator when said moderator tried to get him removed (taking action against another moderator who is trying to get a top mod removed for inactivity strictly breaks Reddit’s TOS).

anyways, a couple weeks ago -reza demods everyone from bikinibottomtwitter with no warning whatsoever. we had no idea what was going on. then, he adds 3 new accounts with almost zero karma (the most was 20), and demods/demods himself under them. we were worried he tried to sell his modspot again or got his account hacked, and so we reached out to the admins. the admins (sodypop) investigated, and, for reasons that were not given due to privacy concerns, demodded -reza and the 3 accounts he added. we dont know if he did try to sell the account or not, or why he was demodded. it honestly came as a suprise to us, although we were happy about it.

so yeah, it has nothing to do with susan trying to move up a mod spot. we all got demodded. not just her. and besides shes not even top mod right now.
