The reduced corruption is an interesting concept in theory. If no one knows what you voted for, they can’t pay you to vote a certain way. Obviously this falls apart when you realize that they can just bribe whoever counts the votes anyways. But again, not a bad idea in theory.
Okay, so if the voting record isn't released to the public, then the guy literally doesn't have to represent the public, so he literally can just sell his bid to the highest bidder. All he has to do is sneak a photo of his vote out to prove to whoever is buying.
And bonus, he can even take bribes from both sides, and then just vote for whomever gives him the biggest bribe.
