The good thing about this community, is it’s still based on consent, as no one is fattened against their will. In a way it’s admirable seeing these women do this to themselves, as it shows a real dedication to work against the grain of society and become the sizes they do.
I had a friend who got the “subscribe his emails to furry dating sites” treatment after a breakup. Unfortunately for them he thought it was funny, though.
"Suicide" wings is a messed up name for such things. They ought to use "Inferno" or "Hurricane" or "Radioactive" or something. Yeah, sure, it's harmless -- for most people. Other people, it reminds them of the worst time in their lives, a time they never want to remember if they can possibly help it, and it's impossible to associate that with good times or fun. As soon as she mentioned it, the best thing would have been to say, "OK, let's go somewhere else right now." Of course the restaurant wasn't malicious -- that's not the point, the point was she wanted to feel like you had her back, and when something made her feel terrible, no matter what it was, that you were going to immediately support her instead of trying to shut her down.
You did the opposite of that. You made her wonder if she can rely on you to support her in other matters as well. All you can really do is apologize and promise to be more sensitive to her feelings, and then actually do it if she decides to continue to see her.
