I’m always amazed how few people know about Gamergate. It’s not only the key to understanding so many violent harassment campaigns going on today, it’s lots of the same people angry about the same stuff using the same playbook.

I don’t know a single tech person that’s made less than $20/hr in an internship. Even freshmen can get $16-18/hr jobs doing work like web dev for the university.

Most of these kids are completely socially inept and have no idea how to apply themselves.

gonna nit pick here; every Engineering internship ive ever had or offered to people was paid. My last office offered $13.50 internships and had barely any takers.

That's a low wage for an engineering internship if anything

exactly. maybe if those rslurs picked a major that society actually needed they wouldnt be bitching about unpaid internships.
