i wasn't doxxed, but i don't enjoy reddit as much as i used to. it feels like an addiction or a distraction at the moment and it's surprisingly sad how often i am noticing myself think "oh you should take a picture of this and share it" or "that's a funny story you should post this", i don't seem to enjoy doing things for the sake of it any more and rather it's me trying to get reactions out of people, whether that's disgust or laughter. last month i challenged myself to take a week off reddit because i noticed i was on it too much, i lasted 2 days and then started coming back on now, so recently i just thought fuck it i need to be able to go more than 2 days without going on here, that's not healthy. i was going to write something more in depth but i really just need to stop coming on here for a while, i said a month to myself so i'll go for that. the more time i spend on reddit, the less time i spend doing other things and it's not worth it for me. i see people spending so much time on social media and said i never wanted to be like them but i have become like that. so ill probably make a blog/video/something in a few weeks just to talk about it properly because i think a lot of people will be in similar positions and won't be aware of it or willing to try and change.
there's a lot on my mind at the moment so i just need to step back and think about what i should do now.
Oh I've been following this game. It's like pokemon but you get cute creatures from plants similar to pikmin. They do dance party battles. It's like cute/animalcrossing/pokemon/pikmin/FarmingSim.
The reason the epic games store exists is because steam is a pile of dumpster shit. The code of the site is always broken, they never update anything, they charge a stupidly high amount to devs for selling their games there and their costumer service is non-existent. Competition will drive down prices. Also epic games gives away games for free. I bought zero games on the epic store but I own 15 games. It's basically people crying because they can't have trading cards and shit. Like 90% of the steam player base never uses anything other than the ability to play the games. In that case everyone complaining is just an autist.
Steve Huffman: Compensation, well... A few steps down the road what I would like to do is when I say empower communities, I think there’s an extreme version of that, which is where we bring economics into this. Allowing communities to have business models. And hopefully you can use your imagination there, but I think there’s a lot they can do and that would open the door to communities having money and potentially moderators having a share of that. So I think we’re pretty far off, but that’s one of my, kind of, fantasies, that we can elevate communities to such a degree that people can actually run a business or earn a living on Reddit.
Yeah, look at the screen caps. In their announcement they told people who would be mad they should be mad about human rights violations and climate change instead while not only are they pocketing money from a company indirectly funded by the CCP, they also told their international fans who can’t buy on epic’s platform that they were whiny and not true fans
I want to buy it just to spite all of the obnoxious gamers and their dumb obsession with taking down Epic
Look guys STEAM SUCKS, VALVE FUCKING SUCKS, they DO NOTHING. If you walked in on the Valve office, you would hear nothing but snoring and masturbation. They haven’t done jack shit to upgrade their client in like a decade, have almost completely outsourced QA over the games to their users, and they’ve stopped releasing games or new products. They’re literally just leeching off of their Steam money at this point. Other companies smell blood in the water, who wouldn’t. It’s the free market, Valve is a shit company that turns your money into masturbation, they are a prime target.
It has infinitely less to do with them partnering with epic and more to do with their absolutely obnoxious tone and the fact they basically told their patrons who have given them money for years to fuck off because they don’t need them
If the world was just, Epic would invoke whatever bullshit rescission clause they have in their contract just as the devs smugly proclaim they no longer need fan support, making him crawl back, grovelling, to sweaty g*mer palms for sustenance.

You web devs should stay in your lane 💅💅💅

This is the most surprising part honestly.
1 forward_dawn 2019-08-02
It’s some “cutesy” kind of shit, which makes sense. That’s where you can find foids in gamedev. I’m sure there are also foids in candy crush.

BROKE: being such a shitty parent that your self-worth as a parent hinges on buying a shitty pokemon/pikmin knockoff for your spawn.
WOKE: realizing that post is a shitty roleplay made by a sperg so unconvincing they've probably been banned from /r/AITA.
JOKE: OP for being a gamer.
