Mayo parents have nearly no ability to teach their kids responsibility; kicking them out is their best lazy way of doing it
Like in the good old days when you'd toss a kid into the lake, and either had them swimming by the afternoon or got to go home with one fewer disappointment in your life
My azn parents gave me everything I wanted but also demand everything from me up to now. But they have to cause I'm their legacy child(dunno what to call it english lmao) who will inherit both of their businesses and they want it to be as secure as possible. Kicking kids out at 18 sounds insane to me. I'm 26 and I still live with them and will probably end up taking care of them in the same house
for the foreseeable future even though it'll be the maids who mostly do that, just being around when they need something will probably really help.

I doubt most do, it's just the really bad parents that don't understand the world that try to do shit like this.
Most parents have a vested interest in seeing their children succeed and know kicking them out at 18 isn't going to help that.
