I hope we'd be able to figure out how they work, but I feel like all my sister would do is just echo the most base of desires; food, water, sleep, or some comfort. She honestly doesn't seem like a normal person with just difficulty communicating. She doesn't know that charging cables charge things, she doesn't understand property, she doesn't understand why she can't go out into the street naked. She has the mind of a toddler, but is a 25 year old.

My mom "sent her to a home" but then asked my dad if I was asking any questions about it. Apparently she wanted to make sure I wasn't doubting she's in a home, which only made me question it more. And it costs thousands a month to keep her in the home, aka her entire social sec check that my mom would spend on alcohol and cigarettes, sometimes instead of food. So my sister would sometimes steal my food. It was so frustrating

He's right though; it only counts as eugenics if it's done to increase or reduce traits in a population. Most cases of genetic disorders that cause severe to profound disability are random mutations and the disabled person can't/won't reproduce so euthanizing them isn't considered eugenics
