Looks like they also have a local shadowban filter going on that nobody knows about. Being a doubles avocado, the kind of having fun in a particular way and occasionally getting to the frontpage communities definitely benefit from strict moderation. For example, /r/gaming sort of became /r/politics in a sense.

Like, it's all well and good to delete posts that get upvoted by random wanderers from /r/all because they found it funny because you have a subreddit dedicated to a particular thing.

That doesn't apply to having Automod shadowbanning users for whatever hallucination it had because a 1% of false positives rate was deemed acceptable by the mods of the subreddit.
