The good thing about this community, is it’s still based on consent, as no one is fattened against their will. In a way it’s admirable seeing these women do this to themselves, as it shows a real dedication to work against the grain of society and become the sizes they do.

Apples to oranges. US public schooling is administered by state governments. It's not standardized federally. Poor argument without knowing what state she's in. For example: Louisiana has ass public schools because the state legislature doesn't fund the public system nearly at all

Soviet school systems were objectively quite good same for places like Cuba, Poland and Czech Czechslovakia.
Just not very good for the "think for yourself" part
