That couldn’t be further from the truth, I lived my whole life in Des Moines and it’s very liberal. Maybe if you go out west it’s not but even some of the small towns are left leaning, definitely not one of the MOST conservative places in the us....
Any reddit community for a country, state, or town will have a disproportionate amount of sjws. Like the Canada subreddit for instance. The only people who care enough to make a subreddit about their local community are generally idiots.
