Bunch of retards. Only applies to green card holders serving in the military.

Every green card holder I worked with was granted citizenship during their first tour. Accompanied overseas tours are not allowed if your first tour is overseas.

Then why implement the policy if it effects no one? To appeal to his retarded base?

Part of the larger effort to eliminate birthright citizenship entirely

That would require repealing the 14th amendment, which effects a lot of supreme court cases. Can’t wait to see how Trump plans to do that

I imagine in his mind he thinks he'll win reelection, get another two SC picks, and that they'll give him a workaround on automatic birthright citizenship.

Because Supreme Court justices have a great track record of doing the executive branch favors, and I want to watch Trump make all the same blunders Andrew Jackson did.

Trump idolized Andrew Jackson too much, he might even pull a fully Andrew Jackson and go against a supreme court ruling if his dementia gets bad enough.

Which is like the worst president to admire I mean fucking hell

It doesn't effect service members.

Born abroad in Okinawa Japan to a Father in the United States Marines. Fuck Trump and Stephen Miller for these idiotic and unnecessary policy changes.

Then this policy wouldn't have affected you. This only applies if neither parent is a US citizen already.

Half of the threads are this exchange

The obvious compromise is to arrange a veteran's discount.

Not gonna lie, if I were a parent of a kid who was denied citizenship this way but instead got citizenship of the host country, it would be very tempting to become a citizen of that host country instead and share with their government any and all classified information I came across while I was in. Possibly defect if able. Why would I want to fight for a country that clearly doesn't give a shit about me or my family?

Retard unironically makes me seethe.

The fuck kinda movie is playing in these people's heads?
