Because, this might be mindblowing, but actual textbooks specialized in a field are more informative than the scattered, poorly editorialized mess on the internet, and go into a lot more depth.

Virtually every major published book has a digital version you can find. Libraries have been functionally obsolete since like 2005.

While that is a fair point, may you elaborate a little more? The link itself shows that libraries have more benefits than social interaction. Sorry if I'm coming off as standoffish; I genuinely would like to hear your thoughts.

Come on dude, libraries are awesome. It's fun to go and chill and browse random books while simultaneously hanging out with my city's entire homeless population.
