There's ~20 huge conglomerates, the "chaebol", mostly run by families who were cozy with the dictator in the 1960s-1970s that run most of the economy. Everyone else resents them for that, as you would expect. But then those families point out that their biggest detractors tend to be total frauds who participate in the same kind of dishonesty, so your kid who you forced to go to school 12hrs/day wasted their life for nothing. Right now it's the left in power getting hammered this way. Some might argue that it's fate is coming around against them for falsely alleging that the right-wing candidate's son was a draft dodger in the '90s.
But whatever happens, the actual chads and staceys of Korea moved on to colonize America where they will dominate the country through brainwashed servants like me.
