Honestly, the HK police have showed surprising restraint. There is never an excuse for police brutality (ACAB and all that), but I guarantee you that if riots at this scale were happening in the US we already would’ve seen several massacres. The idea that HK police are anywhere comparable to US police is propoganda that benefits the west.
