This seems sketchy. I haven't heard of a sub being given advance warning that they're going to be banned, let alone like half a day's warning so far. This might be a scam to get people to sign up for their site they're advertising in the comments. Plus they're advertising their patreon now in the comment.
It's possible that reddit has decided on a new ban notice system for bigger subs, but it'd be new.
