Yeah, I'm not sure yet that it was political. What I find really baffling is that even 22 hours after this guy got killed, there really isn't that much of an outcry. When their guy gets killed and antifa doesn't try to milk it for everything it's worth, they must know something that we don't.
I doubt it's an accident though. I pay close attention to fatal accidents around here so I know where to be careful as a pedestrian. It's extremely unlikely that someone would just happen to be killed on that street.
I can imagine two scenarios that fit what we know so far:
It was an actual aut-right terror attack. Antifa are keeping quiet because after unloading their guns into a city street they suddenly realized that this was actually beyond a LARP. This is when you call your mom in San Jose and she tells you to shut up until you talk to the lawyer she's hiring for you. Cider Riot was already under investigation by the liquor control commission over the last riot there. I'm sure the cops also would have a lot of questions about who owned what guns, were they convicted felony sex offenders, that sort of thing.
Or was it a personal grudge by someone within their crowd? This is a group of people who are constantly in a rage and believe that violence is the first thing you resort to when you disagree with someone. Maybe someone cheated on their partner or insulted Enver Hoxha or God knows what and it led to murder.
I lean heavily toward scenario #1 but I've got an open mind at this point.
