I was a waiter at a restaurant. A client touched my ass intentionally as I was at their table. I ignored it. Reflected about 5 minutes, went back, asked him as politely as I could not to do it again. He acted surprised, then slowly started to mock me saying I wasn't good looking enough. 10 minutes later him and his pal (60-70 year olds) came up to me and were outraged by the accusation. I held my ground. They wanted to check the security cameras. Bosses weren't around. They left causing a big scene. Next day my boss says I'm only trouble and shows me a long email the man wrote. He told me he's a high court judge and has 4 children. I didn't ask. 2 days after incident I finally get them to check the security cameras. Before they said they checked it and didn't see anything. We spend 15 minutes scrubbing through the footage, we find it, he is indeed touching my ass. Boss' reply: they studied body language at uni and some people might express themselves that way. My reply: That's fine, I can tolerate that, but they were the one outraged by the accusation and denied everything and tried to ridicule me in front of customers and coworkers. A client even told me how well I handled then by I keeping my calm. I left that very day when I saw no one gave a shit even after checking the security cameras. Oh and I'm a guy.
