It's standard to lie about value when dealing with banks and tax officials?
When dealing with people who want to take money from you, you should be as helpful as possible, just in case someone on reddit calls you a liar. You definitely don't look at cost/benefit ratio of penalties vs chance of getting found out (by university professors!!!) vs potential profit.
Well there's more poor people than rich people ...if rich people stop paying taxes (not that they do anyway haha, imagine not minimizing your tax exposure lmao) it probably wouldn't wouldn't even mean a fraction of a percent cut to welfare budget (eat it poors, you know your fentanyl stamps are getting cut first, right?).
Now, if poor people (of whom there is a fuckload) stop paying taxes (which they pay very dutifully because on account of being poor they can't afford tax accountants and lawyers), entire clapping economy could collapse into a gigantic pile of burgers that would bury half of the western world (west is best).
Thank you for coming to my first year accounting lecture, this isn't usa so I am not going to be marking attendance lol, just leave whenever.
The guy paid more in taxes, in 2005, than the entire bloodline of pizza shills in the last two centuries. I love how sanctimonious libs get with this shit
Everyone in the country does everything they can to pay the least amount on taxes possible, it’s a universal-apolitical thing. People that don’t work and collect child Tax credits etc/don’t contribute, will always seen with contempt, by the American tax payer. When did you say your dad is getting out of jail?
Do you come home from work and say "ok this is the night i'll do my taxes" and then you take out the pen and calculator, line up all your tip receipts on the table and try to make sense of it all ?
appear more profitable to lenders and less profitable to tax officials
Lmao Jesus Christ. You “appear” more profitable to lenders because they’re not just looking at your income, but also your projected cash flows in the future and the likelihood of meeting your debt requirement.
Tax officials only care about income earned or lost in one year, you’re not going to forward them projected income via salary or leases.
If king MAGAtard committed fraud then he should be punished accordingly, but comparing profitability appearances between the IRS and lenders is garbage.
The real joke in this story is the auditors/valuators who got fucking punked by some middle manager that someone hired by trump hired to ensure the audit/valuation goes "smoothly". I didn't read the article of course, but I am guessing it wasn't PWC/KPMG.
Don't you mean "versions of fraud" ? Surely the professor in your article knows more about the issue than you, and he's calling it "versions of fraud".

The "expert" must be a redditor because they are puzzled by standard business practices.

I love how you're defending a tax dodger attacking poor people for not paying taxes.
God damn rightoids are pathetic.

Let be me clear here you illiterate ape: Trump attacked poor people for not paying taxes while himself dodging taxes.
If you can't comprehend what this means, I can't help you.
1 Kat_B0T 2019-10-16
Sure he did. Dm me where drunpf touched you

1 Kat_B0T 2019-10-16
People that have never done taxes likely think this tbh. I do everything and anything to get out of paying more in taxes, it’s the American way ffs
1 princess_y_fronts 2019-10-16
Except paying experts/professionals to do it for you, it seems, since you think it's an insult to accuse someone else of not doing them themselves.
1 Kat_B0T 2019-10-16
I’ve done both ways, many times. A professional can help you get into the weeds a bit more.

So it’s not really fraud?
1 yangpede 2019-10-16
Versions of fraud means fraud.
1 TrolleyDilemma 2019-10-16
If it means the same thing, wouldn’t they just say fraud?
1 BriefSquirt 2019-10-16
Black is a shade of gray but nobody calls black that

Oof he must have forgot the triple brackets. Here
(((Versions of fraud))) *
1 Seattle_Bussy_Lmao 2019-10-16
Pretty sure the only people shocked by this are basement-dwelling neets who struggle with their 1040EZ.

1 yangpede 2019-10-16

1 Seattle_Bussy_Lmao 2019-10-16
Did I say it wasn’t?
I think you’re the dumb dumb.
1 yangpede 2019-10-16
If you know it's fraud, why are you trying to argue with me?
1 Seattle_Bussy_Lmao 2019-10-16
Because lying to the government and banks is normal you insufferable neet.
1 yangpede 2019-10-16
Lol, not to this extent. I think you're confusing what he's done here for run of the mill shit, it isn't.
You can get in pretty deep shit for stuff like this.
1 Seattle_Bussy_Lmao 2019-10-16
You are why courts recommend people don’t represent themselves.
