I have a sneaking suspicion that some people in that thread might not have a phd in biochemistry and are just repeating what they read on facebook. Both pro and anti gmo agendaposters.
I would also wager they are concerned about global warming but hate nuclear power you know the only source that can come close to matching the output of fossil fuels
