There was a subreddit called the honkler which was all about white supremacy, but it used a really fucking stupid code in which clowns represented white people, honk honk represented Heil Hitler, and a bunch of other stupid shit.
Any references you see to clowns could be referencing that, and if it is someone celebrating the death of a black man it is pretty fucking obvious that is what they mean.
