Eugene “not a real doctor” Gu slides in with the top comment
Emmett Till was a 14-year-old boy boy who was falsely accused of sexual harassment by a white woman in Mississippi and then brutally lynched. That’s what a lynching looks like without due process. His mother held an open casket funeral to show the world what American racism is.
He got fired from his surgical residency at Vanderbilt also was accused of sex assault but not sure what happened with that. Not sure on the fraud part.
kindof stupid TBH. In my experience, only real doctors call themselves doctor. All my professors liked "Professor x" and not "doctor X". Not an single person i knew with a PhD asked to be called doctor.
Dr Gu's most notable contribution to public life was providing such brainlet tweets so seething DDF copetards can use to deflect from whatever Daddy's latest spergout is.
If you remove most of the insane boomerisms, he actually has a point. The democrats have set a precedent that they would hate to have used against them. They decided to start the inquiry without a vote, that they probably could have one, for some reason. While the vote wasn't required by law, it made it harder to just start impeachment inquiries because the president did something the majority party didn't like. This will probably bite them on the ass eventually.
Are you saying that it's precident was a rise in activist judges, which will soon bite them, or that democrats kill their babies and therefore kill future democratic voters? Because both are true.
no I'm saying that roe v wade was the original, "omg the dems may have won the battle but they're gonna' lose the war with these shady tactics" bit that I can remember
This is different because the precedent was in place to prevent congress from holding partisan impeachment inquiries. Next Democratic president does anything even remotely sketchy and they're getting an inquiry.
I guess that's true. still tho I very rarely buy into this, "they went to a NEW length this time" shit because >both sides do it roughly every 90 seconds
bernard's gonna' eat a veggie burger on day 1 and by day 2 they'll be tryna throw his old ass out onto pennsylvania ave lmao
Both parties have shit themselves in the foot several times by setting poor precidents or changing procedure. It's honestly amazing they still do it, but I guess politicians aren't exactly the brightest bunch.
I guess at the end of the day, the really harsh reality is that ALL politicians ultimately care much more about staying elected and getting dat paper than they ever did about democracy/justice/discourse/etc
Won an impeachment inquiry vote? Probably, i wouldnt have bet agaisnt it. I just think the dem party is in such disarray right now they think if they didnt have to put their vulnerable members on the spot with a vote it couldnt hurt them. Like, if they voted yes, it would hurt them, and voted no it would hurt them. So just dont vote and move forward anyways.
Overall i think its a bad move regardless. I think the R's suffered in 2018 because people said "Hey, youve had two years and didnt do shit! So fuck you!" And now, again, weve had two more years of nothing along with a non-stop investigation process.
I’d say tell him the house is like the police they don’t let you dispute their investigating someone. While the senate is the actual trail where you get to argue it but that’s probably over his head.
if a Democrat becomes President and the Republicans win the House, even by a tiny margin, they can impeach the President
Daddy doesn't realize that this has always been true. I'd say he has memory problems since he can't remember the 90s but he almost certainly has Alzheimer's so it makes sense.
TBF the Clinton impeachment train started with the mysterious death of Vince Foster. And then this:
Within hours of the death of Deputy White House Counsel Vince Foster in July 1993, chief White House counsel Bernard Nussbaum removed documents, some of them concerning the Whitewater Development Corporation, from Foster's office and gave them to Maggie Williams, Chief of Staff to the First Lady. According to the New York Times, Williams placed the documents in a safe in the Clinton residence on the third floor of the White House for five days before turning them over to the Clinton family lawyer.[25]
Impeachment just means they try to put charges on him. You can't actually remove him without proof anyway. Why do people keep saying this will remove him from office or something? I swear real life people actually think impeachment means he's gone.
What's crazy is he's just breaking the law and doing impeachable shit on a weekly basis and pretending he's somehow being treated unfairly.
That's called "entitlement" and it comes from being born rich af. Rich people all think they deserve special treatment and it's why we should just take their shit and feed them to pigs.
Trump has taken it to the next level. He's actually a full-on narcissist. I doubt that guy has any capability of even comprehending what a shit-show he is.
There's no way Daddy could actually get lynched, the mob would first have to get through an inconceivable mass of body fat, mobility scooters and Q themed XXL tshirts surrounding him.

i thiought it was like he had "Dr" in his twitter handle, with a pic of him in his scrubs, only to find out he was still in residency or something
2 Kaiser-romulus 2019-10-22
Well he’s technically a doctor as in he did graduate med school but he doesn’t practice.

Actually the republicans set the president in 2015 when they changed the rules so they didn't have to consult with the dems when issuing subpoenas.
Looks like it bit them on the ass, eventually.
2 LightUmbra 2019-10-22
Oh yeah. They're retarded too. Both parties forget that they won't always be in power.

Purple states. They think if they make everyone vote on it it could hurt their relection chances.
1 LightUmbra 2019-10-22
I still think they would have won. A failed impeachment inquiry will be pretty bad on the Dems no matter what.
