Remember when the banks who sit on the exclusive cartel that processes all payments on planet Earth crashed the entire world economy, got a trillion dollars in free money and then decided to be moral arbiters of what we consume and purchase?
Just open up a PO Box and have people send money orders and whatnot. If your fanbase actually cares they can figure out how to send a monetary instrument via post. Televangelists made money this way for decades.
The more I think about it, the funnier this is as a solution; just use the fricking mail. Send checks, receive checks, simple. As an added bonus, interfering with the mail is a serious crime, so he might even get some of his detractors behind bars.
Hm... that sounds good, but I vaguely recall hearing of things like banks cancelling "personal" accounts that didn't look like they were really being used as personal accounts.
I don't supposed you know enough to say if there's an account type he could use that (1) wouldn't get cancelled from being used for this, and (2) is automatically available to anyone who wants it, rather than discretionary on the part of the bank?
Or would he just have to keep everything in cash like I understand pot businesses are forced to do?
Money orders would solve that problem, as would checks made out to cash. Once he's got enough money to buy a fair bit of crypto, then he can do business as normal. Plus you can use credit unions who usually have less of an opinion about what you're doing (I think all the legal hookers in nevada have to use credit unions instead of banks).
Being cut off from the normal payment processors to the point where people have to physically mail him checks or send him Zoomercoin for him to make a living is definitely business as normal and not a horrifying corporate hellscape.
More like a normal business in the 1950s, exactly the opposite. It's important work. The banks can either have the ability to decide who to do business with based on public image, or they can avoid the rise of alternative payment systems. Not both. So we'll have to see what they choose.
He got famous for trolling Dr. Phil’s audience of fat women, joined Maddox’s podcast, and they had an infamous falling out where Maddox proved to be an insane person. Since then he’s opened a Patreon competitor and injected saline into his ballsack.
His Patreon competitor is in the same vein as Cody Wilson's Hatreon. It's a platform for all the people who are too politically toxic for Patreon's tastes.
