There was a news on local Toronto AM station about a girl 14 years old who was accidentally shot in her both legs, it was around midnight on a school night and she was in a room with five "males" who all fled after she got shot.
Even though the location was Finch & Weston Rd. - a major crime infested ghetto of Toronto - the news report took a swing at "not storing firearms correctly" and "making sure kids can't get a hold of guns" as important takeaways.
All the while everyone knows exactly what happened - lol
Being around legal guns with licensed law abiding responsible people is pretty cool for teens and adults alike. Being around criminals and shitheads with or without guns is never cool.
