Peak Reddit

A little snack for the drama hungry. A post in /r/wholesomememes incapsulates a lot of what reddiit userbase is about. This ticks all the checks for a sob post: an extremely dumb pun in the title, his "cousin" made the picture, bad quality and dead dog mourning.
This of course earns the post 24k upvotes.
Nothing out of the ordinary so far.
Except the user not only reposted, but made up all of it, forcing a poor catgirl to waste her tears and downvote the post, and the mods had to nuke most of the threads.
what's left are poems, promises of framing it, the usual pathetic defaultposting, but in the midst of the rubble you can find a gem like this comment

You could literally do the same thing in /r/aww and /r/TwoXChromosomes and there wouldn't be a difference.

I like to search for "Facebook Trump meme" in google, then submit it in /r/political with the title "Donald Trump wants this picture removed from the internet. DON'T SHARE IT!"
