We're all anxiously waiting for the real goldmine here, the impending Bentanyl cartoon about this. The vast landscape of labelled chicken strips will enlighten us all.
I remember the lefties saying, back when this was a stupid controversy the first time, that they'd all boycott chikfila, but chikfila was fine
now the righties are saying they're going to boycott it, and I'd bet you all my sorors bucks that nothing will really come of it and chikfila will be fine
because at the end of the day americans are fat and lazy, and have almost no real convictions since all their options are just mega corporations that all lead up to the same parent corp
It's a somewhat odd case and i think way too much is made of the religious views of the owners because in n out is pretty proudly Christian but it's not like it's having trouble in California or any state it's in.
There was an attempt to boycott in n out, but it didn't take. I think it was just for donating money to Trump and the GOP, rather than explicity anti-gay causes.
That's more political than anything Chick fil a's donated to. The salvation army is explicitly pro-lgbt since 2011 (about the same time obama and hillary came around) and the "christian athelete" thing made staff pledge against extramarital sex, nothing in there about gays.
because at the end of the day americans are fat and lazy, and have almost no real convictions since all their options are just mega corporations that all lead up to the same parent corp
That and chick fil a has a history of slow and careful growth alongside service which has been established as really good. This isn't going to budge their income lower long term, probably.

Does cfa think anyone who was legitimately boycotting them is going to start eating there now? All they've done is kids off rightoids in addition to lefties. Not that it's actually going to affect their profits since normal people don't give a fuck what a chicken place thinks about the queers
Where'd you get that the rightoids want to cancel chick-fil-a? These tweets just show them disappointed in the perceived caving to activist pressure, I don't see any motion to get people to stop eating god's chicken.
"cancel"=/="voice disapproval" nobody's trying to pull their permits
I don't know I mean I get your point but they're not really calling for boycotts or trting to get franchises removed from malls like leftists did a while ago
That's obviously because they enjoy chicken more than the leftoids do. Bonus points for having some sort of "Christian" semblance/marketing to their chicken, too.
I do think it's a bit overrated tbh but still pretty good, plus the restaurants are always clean and have good customer service (almost overbearing imo).
No. Remember that the majority of Americans have shit taste. Applebees is a top "restaurant" is the US. Olive Garden in Times Square is one of the busiest spots.
Olive garden, for how disgusting it is, you would think would be reasonably priced. It fucking isn't. Literally a local italian place is going to have better fucking prices than that shithole.
Shapiro is such a tard. He literally said on his show yesterday that Chic fil a was FORCED to change their donations. Who forced them? It's one of the most successful chains in existence.
The landlord decided not to renew the lease after protests. They haven't been banned by any governments. Nobody forced them to do anything. 6-month leases are pretty rare in the commercial world, especially for a big name like Chic-fil-a. Maybe they really were testing the waters.
chick fil a can't be that good. it's whitw people copying soul food. but them supporting gay conversion camps so right wing talking heads can defend the little guy is good. speaking of little guy, why is Ben against this? he can't be seen supporting Christians plus he prefers to talk about the more colorful lgbt types.
So what will Chik-Fil-A do due to this boycott? They will continue to be busy from open to close and have people working outside along the drive thru, taking people's orders because if I wanted to talk to a human being directly about my food when I'm in my car I'd go to Sonic or where they still have drive-ins.

Gay porn is a genre that cuts across all demographics and the stigma that you have to be gay to enjoy it needs to come to an end right now.

I know some people are mad at Wendy's about this (sorry for non-centrist source)

Yeah Salvation army is unironically one of the best charities out there, so of course rabid lefties hate it.
1 hmunkey 2019-11-19
I hate it because they have annoying people stand outside stores and ring bells at me.
1 totally_not_ac3 2019-11-19
That's fair

Pretty sure they were supporting conversion therapy in at least 2013 if not later lol.
1 capthazelwoodsflask 2019-11-19
It's because Wendy's donates to adoption charities and leftoids just want them to give to abortion clinics.

There was a protest outside the Burger King on 5th Avenue but no employees were there to care (everyone seeminly walked off the job again)

No need for a reminder when it's constantly on public display. See: Daddy Fast-Food Landwhale

It’s the perfect time to do this because as much as rightoids want to boycott chick fil a they aren’t going to go to Popeyes and risk their lives.
1 jubbergun 2019-11-19
The fuck I ain't. I'm getting the three piece dark meat combo with dirt rice and green beans and a large red beans and rice to eat later.

they'll just switch to different charities for the tax breaks. People will still buy the Jesus chicken regardless of anything else happening.

1 Meowing_Cows 2019-11-19
TIL that being anti-LGBT was a pre-requisite for rightoid support and giving up the stance is a social op by the leftoids
I'm confused, who's actually doing the cancelling here? Sounds like the rightoids are now the wannabe cancellers.
1 WholesomeDrama 2019-11-19
I mean leftoids appropriated cancel culture from rightoid christcucks in the first place. They're just reclaiming their culture ➕🎉
1 Fortizen 2019-11-19

1 Meowing_Cows 2019-11-19
That's getting cancelled, just wording it differently.
1 Fortizen 2019-11-19
How'd you get that from "now they're just another fast food place"?
1 Meowing_Cows 2019-11-19
When were they ever more than just a fast food place? It's a glorified KFC at best.
Feigning outrage == cancelling, it's that simple
1 DepravedMutant 2019-11-19

I don't know, a certain demographic of the left is known for being quite fond of chicken
1 WigglingWeiner99 2019-11-19
"Consoom fast food or you're part of cancel culture" is a galaxy brained take if I ever saw one.
1 Meowing_Cows 2019-11-19
BRO no they're just VOICING THEIR DISPROVAL of this change while not ACTUALLY cancelling.
...so CFA won't notice a thing, at all. Very meaningful disproval.

But tbh you're right about us having shit taste. I always get Taco Bell whenever I go into town.
1 lickedTators 2019-11-19

Like 15 years ago me and my friends went to the TGIF for the goof of it.
Then we realized we paid $30 each for TGIF's shitty food that normally costs like $15.
1 Alicesnakebae 2019-11-19

1 Pepperglue 2019-11-19
Well, the previous owner who did all that died. I was more surprised it took that long for them to stop.
Even better if less people go there. Less chances of getting stuck in line for me.
