Hahahahaha, you're in college and you still spend your time like this! This internet troll shit is for lonely 14 year olds, not adults.
The rest of your life is going to be lonely and boring if this is what you do with your time during what should be your most exciting years.
Before you know it, college will be over and you'll have no ability to make new friends because you don't have anything interesting to talk about or any way to meet new people. If you're not able to make friends now when it's literally the easiest it will ever be, there's no way you're going to swing it when you're even older.
It's $129 for the controller and dongle, outside of the $60 you're paying for crappy older games which are probably half that price, if not lower, everywhere else.
For what? Remote play of a game you paid for but don't own at shitty wifi speeds with tons of input lag. Anyone buys this deserves it.
I'm the exact use-case for a streaming games service, and even then I wouldn't use Strada. I used to game in high school and college but haven't really since I graduated close to 8 years ago. I don't give a fuck anymore about building a beast gaming rig with lights and other autistic bullshit. A buddy got in on the beta for GeForce NOW and I used it to play a bit of Doom 2016 last year (it had very impressive latency) and I would much rather use that for one simple reason: Steam & Origin compatibility. With Strada I'd have to re-buy everything at basically full price, versus having almost instant access to my old 2012 steam library in a couple of clicks, plus being able to use it on a Mac or any random PC.
Imagine paying fucking rent on software and then requiring a high quality internet connection to use it.
Sun Micro, Oracle and Microsoft had such a raging hardon for this a few decades ago and it blew up in their faces and they all got to eat shit. I'm hoping we'll get to see Google eat it too.
At the product level. Oracle actually sort of has products that this would work for. At the time, they couldn't pull it off because they were generally trying to do it via ISDN lines and the like.
Microsoft got burned a bit harder - the idea of paying an hourly rental for Word, or worse Windows like AOL hours was not popular and did not succeed.

Imagine having brand loyalty to fucking google stadia. Either everyone in that thread is on a payroll, or the bugmen meme is real.

How does an unreleased product get a fan base? Those people are mentally ill.
