/r/drama was part of my shift rightward. There are a lot of rightoids in there doing the lords work, showing people to the light. Ironic rightoid posting can still red-pill people. And good drama is still good drama, whether it's chapotards sperging out over ableism in the revolution or the Donald Defense Force sperging out about NPCs. Drama is one of the few places where actual fascists and actual leftists clash on a daily basis, and it's pretty entertaining.

Every state but delaware has some kind of usury law. This is why every single credit card company is based in delaware. No delaware, no 30% interest credit cards.

You can thank milton friedman and the lot of them for spreading neoliberalism to the entire western world which meant the creditor class who owned stuff like apartment buildings kept getting wealthier while the middle class stagnated. At the same time birth rates declined partially due to the rise in housing costs, and since the whole deck of cards relied on a large pool of exploitable workers, countries started looking at immigration as a way to counter the plummeting birth rates. Then we had reagan's amnesty which ironically turned california from solid red to solid blue, and leaders like merkel welcoming third world "migrants" to shore up the shrinking low skilled labor pool and the creditor class saw the value of their land and homes continually skyrocket, while trade deals send their jobs to china and india.

Of course the working class can only take so much, which is why nationalist populists suddenly became popular in the US, the UK, France, the netherlands, italy, hungary, poland, and even Brazil.

Of course the creditor classes champions in power don't like this one bit. They want the working class entirely dependent on them, and a continually expanding labor pool from open borders was just the ticket. When the whole thing got challenged by the populists, they started screaming it was all about racism and hate rather than the deliberate and global rape of the working class for the last thirty years.

You can actually see this phenomenon spelled out in the elephant graph, which shows that over the last thirty years or so the world's rich and the world's desperately poor are the only two groups that saw their wealth increase while the middle stagnated.

Of course the permanent representatives of the creditor class don't like the populists trying to give the working class a say again, so we have the EU and their cheerleaders in the UK doing everything they can to ignore the will of the electorate by trying to stop brexit. In the US we have the military industrial complex, the fed, and the intelligence "community", not a a fucking one of them elected, and most staying in careers long enough to outlast presidents, working with the DNC to create endless "investigations" and other roadblocks to keep another populist president from rocking the boat.

Not sure about your conclusion though, you need more data between 1930 and 1972. Knowing the percentage of the managerial class in 1930 and 1972 doesn't tell you when their numbers actually started increasing. If the Federal Reserve came back in 1930 and the managerial class exploded in the 1960s can you really draw that conclusion?

Ask him why they dominate the market if they're so unproductive. Ask why (in an environment with cheap capital) investors don't just fund new competition if the incumbents are so useless.

Part of the answer might be increased red tape and borderline corruption making the management bloat necessary (see "Game of Mates" for an analysis of how this shit happens in Australia).

This has more to do with manufacturing leaving the US and the transition to a service-based economy. It's just another way of saying, "white collar worker."
