I really don't see the recreational appeal of benzos.
Super useful as an anxiolytic, antiemetic, anticonvulsant, and sleep aid. But they're so fucking lame as a party drug.

I mean 3x the effective dose of barbituates would kill you, there wasn’t a lot of wiggle room. Opiates are bad too in terms of the effective/lethal dose but barbituates were even worse.

That’s what I’ve heard. Have to love that people made up for it a bit by going way over prescribed dosages and combining with alcohol though.
