Yes, she may have changed her legal gender (I really don’t know if she did) but that doesn’t make her not mentally ill and no one’s saying that. Being trans is absolutely a mental illness. Gender dysphoria is a condition that requires medical intervention. That intervention just so happens to be transition. Even if you don’t consider it that way, changing her gender legally doesn’t change whether she’s mentally ill and no one has ever said so.

Laws preventing trans people from using the correct toilets has done nothing but lead to the arrests of GNC cis women trying to pee.
