Rightoids and Leftoids welcome. This is your one-stop for discussion of today's episode of the hit American TV Dramedy, "Daddy!" In today's season finale Daddy Donald finds himself in a bit of a no-no as the nasty House of Representatives led by Speaker Bad Teeth votes on whether or not to make Daddy the third President to be impeached.

I spend more time with women on any given Tuesday than any unloved, lonely shut-in Chapo poster has in his whole fucking life. I might make jokes about women on /r/drama, but IRL I'm one of the fucking girls and fine with it.
When any of them open up to me about their experiences with harassment or assault, it is never - NEVER. FUCKING. EVER. - about a MAGA bro or a frat boy. It is always at the hands of some sensitive feminist "woke" boy.
The "frat boy rapist" thing is a myth that dangerous dudes like this are happy to perpetuate, because it takes the heat off of them, i.e. the real threats to the goddamn wimminz.

I agree, I just fear that the effect will be heavily diluted.

At this point everyone should know what will happen. The House vote passes, we get a couple weeks of people getting their hopes up that enough GOP senators flip.
Then McConnell, using the majority, will rush the Senate trial and we'll have a party line vote. Lots of seething and cope will ensue.
1 Jeb4Pres2020 2019-12-18
No shit.
The arrPolitics hissy fit might be pretty choice, though.
1 jubbergun 2019-12-18

Just got it on in the background and everyone just keeps saying the same exact shit.
On the left it's "No one is above the law X100" on the right it's "Overturn the election of a duly elected president x 100"
Like that's all they've been saying. They're like carbon copies of each other.

These vulnerable and moderate Dems are really worried about impeachment and a lot of people believe this will hand the 2020 election to Trump
Also, the Dems are absolutely giddy to impeach Trump. That's why Pelosi has been stalling it for so long!

1 Kat_B0T 2019-12-18
In an alternate timeline, Hillary won the election and was the one who was tied up with investigations by republicans for her entire presidency.
This is why they’re so angry. Because all of this was originally THEIR plan. Republicans never intended to win 2016, they intended to lose and use Hillary’s perceived criminality to consolidate their power in the next election.
They are livid that they aren’t the party fighting back against the presidency. And because Trump resonated so much with their base, they’ve painted themselves into a corner with supporting this cretin.
The only difference with the Democrats’ plan is that, unlike Hillary, Trump ACTUALLY committed crimes. And that’s what puts us on the right side of history.
1 faponurmom 2019-12-18

1 MinerHornet 2019-12-18

1 Kat_B0T 2019-12-18
For the rest of history, as we reflect on this time, the journals will all say the same version of this sentence:
"Donald J. Trump, the third President in the United States to be impeached...."
This will forever stain him, it's deserved. Our efforts to resist this horrible administration have born this victory and point of truth.
Take a breath today.

1 kier00 2019-12-18
Like all good bait, there must be an element of truth to it to set the hook.
So, whatever, I'll bite.
Without Trump there is no Democratic Party. The proggies and left leaning liberals hate each other. The neocons wanted Hillary elected to showcase this divide while brow beating the right leaning liberals for supporting Trump. It was how the neocons were going to cement their power for the next couple of decades.
Instead, not only did the neocons get outed as being the ((())) of the right wing, Trump is the glue holding together the Dems. Hating Trump is the only way Pelosi and the proggies can be in the same room together without it devolving into a foid screaming match.

The democrats have been really bad at strategy this whole decade. The party honestly needs to split in two. Same with the Republicans. The country would be a lot better off if we could break up political parties like monopolies. Then you could have the sane people who can compromise in the middle two and the screaming retards in their respective corners. Honestly thinking a two party system accurately represents a country with 318 million people is like thinking the Chinese Commounist Party accurately represents everyone in China.

1 shitpersonality 2019-12-18
There are pending court decisions that will potentially destroy his campaign, too.
And then there is the whistleblower that most news outlets aren't focusing on, the IRS presidential audit.
When his taxes come out, jimmies will be severely rustled.
1 jubbergun 2019-12-18
Yeah, for the same reason jimmies rustled when Rachel Maddow got a hold of one of his leaked returns: there won't be anything there about which to complain. Dude runs a business and pays someone to do his taxes. He gets audited by the state and federal government every year. Do you really think his taxes are going to produce some kind of "gotcha?"
1 shitpersonality 2019-12-18
Are you under the impression the lengths he is going to hide his taxes is 4d chess?
1 jubbergun 2019-12-18
I don't think he's hiding anything. He's just obstinate and likes to make things difficult for people. The 'whistle-blower' in this case is accusing someone of meddling and trying to cancel audits or something, but they don't say who that someone is. Could be some nobody for all we know. Shit, a bunch of nobodies got together and lied to the FISA court to spy on Trump, and the highest ranking people in that group are all retards. I doubt Trump knows any more about this than Obama knew about wiretapping a political opponent.
1 shitpersonality 2019-12-18
Pretty 🧠 stupid take.
1 jubbergun 2019-12-18
Oh, I wasn't talking about the IRS audit. If anything he was doing was illegal they would have had him years ago. He gets one of those every year and probably doesn't give a shit about them. What I meant was he's making it difficult for congress to get his tax information.
1 shitpersonality 2019-12-18
Why would he be fucking around trying to obstruct the IRS presidential audit?
1 jubbergun 2019-12-18
Who said he is? You talk about baseless assumptions, but your source doesn't even claim Trump is trying to obstruct the IRS.
1 shitpersonality 2019-12-18
The whistleblower in the IRS!
1 jubbergun 2019-12-18
Thank you for verifying exactly the thing to which I was referring. It doesn't "the president," it say a political appointee. And yes, there is a very real possibility someone has "gone rogue," and everyone who expects the rest of us to believe that the IRS targeting conservative groups was just Lois Lerner "going rogue" or that spying on Trump's campaign was just a few agents "going rogue" shouldn't have any problem at all entertaining that possibility.
1 shitpersonality 2019-12-18
Thank you for confirming you're a retard.
1 jubbergun 2019-12-18
I'm glad we agree. With all these federal employees "going rogue" it wouldn't be fair to assume elected officials are responsible for the things they're being accused of doing.
1 shitpersonality 2019-12-18
Mulvaney, Pompeo, and Bolton are refusing to comply with Congressional subpoenas at Trumps request because?
1 jubbergun 2019-12-18
Because executive privilege has been invoked for one of the actual reasons executive privilege has been recognized by the courts: the president has a right to confidential conversations with his closest advisers.
1 shitpersonality 2019-12-18
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_v._Nixon
1 jubbergun 2019-12-18
You should probably read a little farther than the first few paragraphs:
This is a matter that democrats themselves have indicated affects both diplomacy and military strategy. This is definitely a case where Trump is entitled to confidential counsel.
1 shitpersonality 2019-12-18
1 jubbergun 2019-12-18
Maybe the way precedent works is a mystery to you, but quoting an older verdict after its pointed out that the newer verdict doesn't support your contentions is overlooking the fact that the newer verdict generally overrides the older one.
1 shitpersonality 2019-12-18
It's from United States V. Nixon.
1 jubbergun 2019-12-18
Then why does the citation note say United States v. Burr, 25 F.Cas. 187, 190, 191-192 (No. 14,694) (CC Va. 1807).
1 shitpersonality 2019-12-18
Because the Chief Justice is citing precedent! The irony!
1 jubbergun 2019-12-18
Ooooh...I see what you did there. The way you copied the quote didn't make it obvious you were quoting citations. Cool, you got me, but none of what you quoted applies here because no one is requesting confidential presidential information as evidence for a criminal case and the information requested falls under the exception the court has already made for diplomatic and military matters.
1 shitpersonality 2019-12-18
Are you doing a bit or are you really this pathetic?
So a little bit of background for you to catch up on.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_re:_Don_McGahn
It's going to make its way to SCOTUS and you already have the precedent above.
1 jubbergun 2019-12-18
That's nice, sweaty, but if the court rules based on the precedent you've referenced without expanding the criteria for what isn't covered by executive privilege that precedent means they're going to rule in Trump's favor because a) there is no criminal trial involved and b) the information requested deals with matters of diplomacy and military strategy. That's based on the the information you provided. If what I'm coming away with is "pathetic," it's either because your research is shit or it doesn't show what you seem to think it shows.
1 shitpersonality 2019-12-18
Let's see, there's already a ruling.
Supreme Court on United States v. Nixon
And United States District Court for the District of Columbia on U.S. House Judiciary Committee v. Donald F. McGahn
1 LongPostBot 2019-12-18

I've actually seen quite a bit of people who said they didn't vote for him in 2016 because they didn't think he'd be a real conservative and now they're fully on board for 2020 because of the judicial nominees.
He's lost supporters, but he's gained them too. I'm not sure which is higher though.
1 taytaybraps 2019-12-18
There are definitely a lot more people who stayed home in 2016 because they thought Clinton would win in a landslide.
1 jubbergun 2019-12-18
He lost the popular vote. That doesn't matter because the popular vote is meaningless. He won the electoral college by a fucking landslide, which is the thing that really matters. Since the impeachment started, his approval numbers have crept up (they were 52% on the daily tracking one day last week) while impeachment support has started to drop. Those polling effects are more pronounced in important battleground/swing states. Trump will have an advantage coming off impeachment because it has made the democrats look petty and partisan. None of the possible democrat candidates are very appealing, and they all shot themselves in the foot when every single one of them held up their hands in support of open borders and free health care for illegal aliens during their first primary debate. That's going to be a GOP campaign commercial come next fall.
1 Whaddaulookinat 2019-12-18
Holy hell, the delusion lol.
He won less of the Electoral College than Barack did in 2008, and with less of a voting share than Romney got in 2012. A landslide looks like Reagan in 1980. It was an average electoral win.
They've stayed steady, and hasn't been above 50%. There's been some noise in his favour (mostly through Rasmussen), but it's still absolutely abysmal. His "strong" support is about 25%, which is Hitler's approval rate after Berlin fell and the Soviets were making swiss cheese out of East Germany for literal giggles.
Of which he is still underwater in almost all of them. With the courts looking at NC, GA, and FL keenly those are probably back in play where the GOP was allowed a lot of fuckery in 2016 due to it being the first general election after Shelby so guidance was minimal.
Likely not, a solid majority believe he not only acted inappropriately for his dealings with Ukraine but other scandals.
And this is where he fucked up bad. American sentiment on allowing refugees and immigrants in, and making the rules easier to follow, has shot up. As a vague idea immigration control was a wedge issue, not when it becomes a concrete policy that's especially brutal. If he just made it more quiet he might've been able to keep up the veneer, but because he was an idiot and it got a lot of press time it completely backfired.

[Even CNN's polling is now showing that Trump's numbers are up and support for impeachment is down, with the strongest loss in support among democrats]((https://twitter.com/SteveGuest/status/1206959229703245827?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1206959229703245827&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fbreakingwide.com%2Fbreaking-cnn-host-suffers-major-meltdown-after-revealing-their-poll-data%2F\)). Trump's polling against potential candidates is, in most cases, within the margin of error, even with the impeachment in play. If Americans wanted open borders they wouldn't have elected Donald Trump in the first place, and while the Europeans and limp-wristed DSA losers on Reddit are crying hyperbolic tears about "concentration camps," most Americans are asking why their wall isn't built. Now Pelosi is saying she won't send the articles of impeachment to the senate unless she's guaranteed Trump will be removed! On top of the last month of goofy, biased shit in the hearings, do you really think that's going to play well to normal people? Trump's practically guaranteed reelection at this point, and democrats just keep finding ways of shooting themselves in the foot.
1 Whaddaulookinat 2019-12-18
Jesus christ you may actually have a learning impediment.
Lol. It's not. It was an average electoral win. Obama's was much much bigger.
Wait, was it the American people, or the electoral college? I know you want it both ways but that's fucking retarded.
Lol. Few give a shit about building "the wall." Most are in hard opposition to it, because it's a retarded idea that only retards think is a good idea.
https://morningconsult.com/tracking-trump-2/
LMAO
Look at the net approval ratings in the "swing states." Barring a miracle for him he's pretty much fucked.
Face it. Most of America hates him. Few like him. You're the minority lol.
1 jubbergun 2019-12-18
That's what I heard during the last election. We'll see how supporting all this chicanery works out for you next November.
1 Whaddaulookinat 2019-12-18
I seriously think you underestimate how much of a fluke it was in the first place. 10k voters spread over three states. That's with GOP SoSs in those states trying their damnedest to tip the scales in their favour. It might happen again, but as of now it's not looking likely, and it looks like the crown jewel of the Senate is up for play when it should be a lock. And after that, good-bye lifetime appointments for judges.
1 jubbergun 2019-12-18
It's funny how you guys never lose because of anything you've done or failed to do, it's always the voting machines, someone cheating (which is rich coming from the party of "there is no election fraud"), $10k worth of ads on Facebook Jedi mind-tricking people to vote against you, and/or "muh Russia." In 2000 a republican beats a democrat and we're told we needed to stop trusting paper ballots and switch to electronic machines. That lasts through the next democrat president, but then 2016 happens and we're told we needed to stop trusting electronic machines and switch to paper ballots.
The people who run the states where more people vote than are registered and the dead turn out to have their voices heard whining about other people cheating is fucking hilarious. Republicans are evil for wanting to verify votes with IDs -- which we do for everything from getting on a plane to buying booze to driving a car to doing basic banking -- but democrats leaving their polling stations open past closing time and/or "finding" ballots that were "lost" is completely normal and not at all suspicious.
You've spent the last three years crying about Russia, but even your hero Mueller had to admit they were sowing chaos and took actions meant to support or thwart both candidates. You cried that Trump "colluded," but it was the DNC and Clinton campaign that paid a foreign agent to buy damaging information about their opponent from Russian assets. Not only can you guys not accept that you lost because your policies and candidates are absolute shit, you blame the other guys for doing the very things you're demonstrably guilty of doing.
It "didn't look likely" the last time it happened, either, Poindexter. Enjoy four more years of Drumpft.

The delusion is real.
Election fraud and voter fraud are two separate things, lmao.
The VOTE Act had bi-partisan support. It was stupid, but bi-partisan.
Russia clearly did the world's most successful hack and dump operations in the world, turning nothing into hay.
Literally doesn't happen.
Guess how I know you didn't read the report.
LOL holy shit where to begin on how actually wrong this is? A) There were over 120 documented questionable contacts between Russian operatives and the Trump campaign. There were tons of charges. B) Fusion GPS was first hired by GOP donors. C) Steele ended up working pro-bono because of what he was uncovering in the rumor mill (it was raw intelligence).
I'm a card carrying member of the republican party, I just hate personality cults that threaten our Democracy and soft/hard power in the world. Fuck me though right?

Yes, it is. Fortunately, I'm not the one claiming to be Napoleon.

1 MinerHornet 2019-12-18
I agree. "Daddy!" should have some it's best episodes ever in late 2020. However, this is as good as we have now so we should be grateful for the drama it provides.
1 ImNotReallyJesus 2019-12-18
Filler episodes before the REAL good stuff, like arresting the Democrats for leaking classified information to the press to impeach him. The best is yet to come, or as that doof of a reoccurring character, Pompeo, said, "All good things come in time." Season 5 is about to be NUTZ
1 kermit_was_wrong 2019-12-18
Is this groundbreaking levels of cope, or just shitposting? I honestly can’t tell anymore.

Q predicted this
1 allendrio 2019-12-18
DDF have been thinking mass democrat arrests have been coming for years lmao.
1 ImNotReallyJesus 2019-12-18
This is as someone on here put it:
that, as someone else pointed out:
I am not coping. I am thinking clearly of what this will do to embolden Trump into doing outlandish things. Trying to usurp a sitting president is a treasonous felony covered in the Espionage Act of 1917. Media personnel have been tried and convicted under it.
It is simple enough to conclude that Trump will have a hard-on for the Democrats. Simple as...
1 kermit_was_wrong 2019-12-18
You're coping fucking hard bro
1 ImNotReallyJesus 2019-12-18
Nah. I am a surf mommy supporter. I support her vote for present and getting completely out of politics when she finally gives up her up hill battle against the establishment. My cope is smoking weed and playing video games as western civilization falls apart.
In summation, I too am a Russian Asset and am severely not coping. Just influencing elections.

Then you sic them on each other.
1 TheLordHighExecu 2019-12-18
To be fair and balancedTM, conservatives complaining that Trump should get a fair trial before impeachment also don't understand that impeachment is a charge, not a conviction.
1 SmoothBeetle 2019-12-18
Get ready for a day full of hearing the same arguments from both sides over and over again.

Under my supreme hegemony every single R*dditor will have to wear these pinned to their breast.
People identified as such shall be stripped of all possessions and rights; no attack against them shall be illegal, and if any human wishes to assault, eliminate, or relentlessly bully a R*dditor they may do so without repercussion.
Inshallah.

If you would have told me 2 years ago that Donald "Daddy" Josephine Trump would be impeached and that there would be almost no major drama associated with it, I would have laughed in your face. Daddy drama just doesn't hit as hard anymore :(
1 MinerHornet 2019-12-18
Yeah, I know. This like smoking too much weed. What used to take you a joint to get high now takes like 5 bowls on a fairly sizable bong.
1 The_Reason_Pete_Wins 2019-12-18
We've been mainlining Daddy drama so much that morning short of nuking Denmark is going to get us our fix anymore

All I got was some boomer evangelical judicial nominees and a hat.

It's classic America. Same thing happened during the Revolution. Things were pretty good then someone put a tax on paper and tea and so we irrationally flipped shit.
1 MinerHornet 2019-12-18
I am holding out hope that your namesake gets the Dem nom because I 100% know Trump would drop an f-slur. That would be the drama hit that would require a narcan shot after.

The REAL drama is going to be in the form of vertical cell phone video from family Christmases utterly ruined because people can't shut the fuck up even during family gatherings about goodwill. There will be crying and wailing, red faced yelling, and someone is getting chokeslammed into a Christmas tree.
1 kermit_was_wrong 2019-12-18
Man, I’m pretty used to rightoids being retarded at this point, but the nonsense they’re putting out today is outright delirious.
1 Giulio-Cesare 2019-12-18
Imagine thinking there's a limit to our retardation.
1 teamsprocket 2019-12-18
Do you think Daddy cries when he thinks that the most history will say about him was that he was impeached and was otherwise unimportant?
1 wwaalleess 2019-12-18
Imagine going back on time 10 years and telling people that the host of The Apprentice is going to be almost be impeached as President of the US but conservatives are too afraid to lose votes so he won't be lmao
1 -Kite-Man- 2019-12-18
To lots of boomers that would seem about right.
He's been running for president since like 1986, that's why there were so many President Trump jokes in the 80s and 90s.
1 KingRuler07 2019-12-18
So the house has enough votes to impeach our 45th President Vladimir Putin? Good luck with that
1 UnkillRebooted 2019-12-18
Is Trump gonna be impeached or not? Can burgers make up their mind already?
