The jannies here have taken down like 3 threads about this today. I’ve seen some of our resident dramautists posting in those threads so I get why, but I’m guessing this is probably gonna get taken down too

Yeah that sounds right. But still, this janny autism should be seen by all.

It is pretty entertaining, it’s just ashame that y’all really can’t behave 😔

How does Kat_B0t keep getting away with it? Pete_bussy said that she ate a permaban for that a week ago, but not only that was overturned, but apparently she now has a license to shitpost in modwhine threads!

ALL of you have literal demons inside of you.

Demons DO enter your body through the anus, because the mixture of pain and pleasure caused by the immoral act of sodomy causes so much psychic confusion that a portal to your soul opens up in your anus for the demon to enter.

This is how demons get inside of everyone. They conflate pleasure with pain. They also conflate truth with untruth.

The anus is only ONE way that demons enter a human body, BUT IT IS ONE OF THE MOST PROMINENT ONES.

This is why so many of you have suffered from pedophilia and sodomy as children. The demons spread to you in this way, in the same way that vampirism spreads through bites.

Reject these homosexual demons and drive them out of your body. I implore you. The world will be a better place. I will forgive you if you expel the demons from your body and stop causing harm to the world around you.

This message is brought to you by truth and decency and concern for your well being as well as the well being of the world around, NOT "bigotry" or "ignorance".

By giving us only 500 characters in the "report" field that's not even enough to include all the usernames and URLs, let alone a description of the problem or how we have found the evasion.

Mad jannies and writing an essay when youre mad. Name a more iconic duo

Mad jannies and y'all.

Power mods quitting Reddit is nothing but a win-win, they should all follow suit.

Either their heavy-handed moderation is the problem, in which case their absence will improve Reddit. Or, despite their smug attitude, they actually do keep the site from sliding into chaos, in which case their absence will force Reddit to act in some way or another.

The one thing everyone agrees on is that the current situation feels untenable. What the power mods seem incapable of admitting to themselves is that they are a significant part of the current status quo and they can exercise significant power... by stopping.

So here's the thing:

I've been using Reddit for 8 years now. I've tried hard to contribute constructively to the community. I try not to post throwaway one-liner comments, but instead endeavour to respond in fairly thorough, cogent thoughts. I try hard to be helpful.

I have helped many local Redditors by offering them my professional services, tools, and equipment for free. As a former semi-professional weightlifter I've helped dozens of prospective athletes towards their goals via Reddit. I've invited Redditors to my house; I've loaned them my vehicles. I'm really trying to do good in the world.

Lol....

THEY

DO

IT

It’s a weekend and a holiday so I’m out with the family right now but as soon as I get back I will take a closer look at your points. Thanks for taking the time to voice them, and I’m sorry we’ve let you down.

Imagine apologizing for using your freetime (during the holidays with your family) while at the same time wasting it by apologizing to someone for being upset online.

Particularly with the massive increased investment that companies like Google and Facebook are putting into paid moderation (and the recognition that it's often a demanding and draining undertaking), the lack of institutional platform support from the admins to the volunteer moderators on Reddit is getting to be unsustainable.

I think that they want to get paid, but they don't realize that the intersection between the set of unpaid jannies who do it to flex power over plebs and the set of people a company would want to hire as paid mods is empty. And that's ignoring the fact that the latter set is comprised mostly of Indian Dalits jannying it for a fraction of the US minimum wage.
