I don't get this whole debate at all. I don't get why, to leftoids, getting brown people on-screen in the Slavic/European fantasy series is so important, such MEANINGFUL representation, rather than actually making shows based around actual African/Indian/Asian etc cultures and folklores where the entire cast would be of that heritage.

They don't want cultural diversity you dunce. They just want the American ethnic makeup to be paralleled on every show and in every film. It's why you never see them pushing for Aboriginal Aussie representation. It's about making the Americans feel comfy, nothing more.
