Hey FuzzyGoalie

"Clowns" obviously refers to the "clown world" meme and "monkeys" to black people. Alt-right takeover of Boeing confirmed.

I'm kinda pissed tho that I was promised a cyberpunk future where megacorporations control everything and yet it's 2020 and everything is run by people who just don't give a shit about their jobs and shareholders have no power over them.

Given how Boeing outsourced software and engineering to India, I dont think black people are the ones being called monkeys here

Also a cyberpunk future can literally never happen - people are too eager to dicksuck corporations, and will never rebel beyond the socially permitted deviance so long as they can keep sucking on the sweet tit of consumerism

I'm sorry I can't hear you over the sound of my Disney+ stream.

Isn't Nike so cool? They just like get me ya know? They give money to kneel black man to make me feel good and definitely not distract from the fact they make army boots using child labor.

All those tropes about competent, Machiavellian corporations and government agencies are written by people who've never had to deal with the staggering stupidity that arises from groupthink and bureaucracy.

I used to be a cheese maker...

In The Lord of the Rings, J. R. R. Tolkien drew upon the language and themes found in the old Medieval hero-tales in order to construct a kind of new mythology. The brilliance of Tolkien was in his departure from the Pagan modes of conduct and morality of these old tales, his creation of a syncretistic fusion between Christian thought and Pagan language, and so his work achieved a deep resonance with all who read it.

We find this passage at the conclusion of The Return of the King:

>The Dark Lord was suddenly aware of him, and his Eye piercing all shadows looked across the plain to the door that he had made; and the magnitude of his own folly was revealed to him in a blinding flash, and all the devices of his enemies were at last laid bare.

Adversaries in the stories that Tolkien drew upon, Grendel, Mordred and the like, often served as obstacles that the heroes could overcome through feats of strength and cunning. Sauron is not like them. When Sauron is defeated, it is not because Aragorn is stronger than him or because Gandalf is wiser. They are not. It is only that his hubris was so great that it never occured to him that anyone would want to destroy the thing he held so dear. It is not until the final few seconds of his existence that he realises his mistake.

I think that I Am Jazz displays a similar moment. In the pictured scene, Jazz's journey to what he believes is womanhood is almost complete. He is resting after surgery, a triumphant smile on his face, his rotting groin held together by a labyrinthine patchwork of stitches and grafts. But as Eru Ilúvatar nudged Gollum over the Crack of Doom into the fires beneath, so too does the God of our world intervene in this.

>Pop!

In a second, the follies of men are undone and Jazz's crotch explodes, a meaty froth of blood and pus pouring out of the hole where his penis used to be.

In that moment of blind panic and terror, Jazz is Sauron. All triumph and victory is gone. Only the Void remains.

I'm scared of flying, unironically.

For my entire career I've worked in engineering (SCADA, defence, infrastructure, etc). Never aviation/aero, but I know enough about the average engineer.

That's why I'm scared of flying. 9 out of 10 engineers are complete retards. Most of the time people get hired because they were the only passable candidate in months. I'm honestly amazed more planes don't go down in flames all the time. Even smart engineers are often lazy and cut corners. I spend half my job these days chasing lazy cunts and getting them to redo the half-baked "that'll do" shite they tried to pass off under the radar.

Aviation is by insane distances the most safe mode of travel. Except if you fly in Russia, Malaysia, central Africa or on a new Boeing plane.

Fly Airbus in a non 3rd world shit hole and the chance of dying is like 1% of dying while driving

Yeah you're right. I know it too. It's partly just my monkey brain shit while in a big flying metal box etc.

Still, this shit with the MAX doesn't surprise me; the internal culture is clearly fucked at least a little

Never aviation/aero,

Plane and boat guys don't do half baked shit because if they do everybody dies man, you know that feeling when you get to a project and it's all fucked up because of the guy before you? Thats only on like wiring/inside the plane.

It's p impossible to mess up the physics at this point unless you cut corners because you don't want to pay American workers like Boeing did.

It's not like the crew of lazy workers you wrangle infront of Homedept or whateever

Your safety factor for air travel is too conservative bro. Change that in the calcs.

I'm studying to be an Aerospace engineer rn, and the amount retards in my classes tells me you're right.

Every company has people in the back that nobody asks for anything but who feel competent enough to pass a judgment.

However, actually writing those thoughts in email shows they are below any standards.

wasnt the 737 MAX the first plane designed by their diversity team? i remember seeing some posts about how they were so proud that the team was made up of blacks, foids, and trannies.

LOL

Honk Honk

This sounds like some rightoid larp tbh. Unless you come up with a source I’m going to assume you’re just a fucking retard.

Are you memeing or just retarded?

No u

I'm not sure the word 'designed' really applies to the MAX. Rather than actually spend the money to develop something new, they took the airplane they've been selling since the stone age and tried to squeeze more money from it by cramming in a larger pair of engines than it was ever meant to carry.

This made the plane dangerously unstable, but of course it goes without saying that the laws of aerodynamics are nothing that can't be fixed in software if it means saving a few bucks.

It might have actually worked ... if they didn't also forget to tell the pilots what they had done.

Smh, can't even make an airliner that's resistant to ground to air guided missiles. 🛫💥🛬🙄

That’s a lot of words for indian contract coders
