They started allowing this in 2016 and it causes so many problems they changed the pt test to be unisex scoring. It's gated into 3 tiers now. I had a practice test the other day. Fuck what were the levels? It's like standard, intermediate and then heavy or something. Basically women need heavy to keep doing infantry. I can tell you right now they're gunna get fucked. Lol you have to deadlift 200 pounds 3x, carry a sled across the ground, push ups, a ball throw, 2 mile run, chin ups and I forget the last one. All fatties and women are fucked.

It's gotten to the point now that enlisted into the military is more difficult to achieve than getting in college.

That's always been the case though? Imagine thinking the average person can run. Brains wise most people can get in, even the bottom 30% can be infantry. The real problem is that 70% of the country doesn't exercise in ANY capacity. Even then to run 2 miles in 15.40 is basically a nightmare for someone who hasn't been exercising since they were a teen. They even told me to pass mock tests at home before I even went to basic so I don't injure myself when I get there.

I have a very low opinion of the average US college student in terms of reading comprehension skill and basic common sense. Modern military systems are far more complex than ever before.

The average college student can't handle any sort of real responsibility....hence why college is no longer a filter, but a funnel. You give a college kid a grenade on a range and they will somehow choke on it.
