Unbelievably based senator

Would unironically be a great idea. We'd get to enjoy the internet without the zoomer menace ruining things while they won't become stunted losers from internet overexposure. :>

Oh great, internet forums completely run by loser boomer NEETs with too much time on their hands. Doesn't sound much better tbh

That’s just what the internet was pre-2005.

Unironically an improvement.

It was actually gen x losers that ran forums in the early 2000s. They were simultaneously the most pathetic yet most based generation. They weren't hypocrites. They knew they had to sell out to survive and dealt with it. They were a lot more libertarian when it came to the internet and their drug scene in the 90s was actually interesting.

They weren't fake hippie turned corporate neolib/neocon sell outs like the boomers or champagne socialists like my fellow millenials. The internet was at its peak when GenX was the dominant force online.

Nah I’m one of them and I ‘m seeing the same trend you describe. It’s not a generation thing.

Also, it’s the loser NEET aspect that I would like to have back. The unemployed make the best content on the internet.

There were and will always be loser NEETS but like I said GenX took a lot more of hands off approach to mod control. GenX unironically also gave us the best decade of music in the 90s and than gave us a way to steal it all for for free in the new milennium.. yhe music was way better than the admittedly great yet less diverse music from the late 60s and 70s that Boomers have brainwashed us into thinking is infallible. I fucking hate the Boomer generation. I hope my parents live forever but the rest can BTFO.

As a xoomer, I agree. I hate boomers and zoomers. I don't really understand the millennial hate. Even my boomer dad used to push the "stay loyal to one company and stay there for 50 years and it will pay off" kinda guy, and I figured out quickly that it's not that way anymore. You should hop jobs every year or two to learn something new and stay marketable. By the time it got bad, I was intermediate level coder and went contracting to jump jobs to make more money. Millennials got caught up in the price increase of every_fucking_thing, getting jobs where corporations will bleed you dry and dump you at the next layoff session, and are encouraged to go into massive debt by buying houses and getting a degree. Boomers ragging on millennials makes me hate them more.

You can access the internet from a computer or laptop.

Hey I became a stunted loser wayyyy before the internet could be accessed on the go tyvm

NOOOOOOO YOU CANT TAKE AWAY MY 1000 DOLLAR PHONE I NEEEEED IT NOOOOOOO

"I have no delusions that it's going to pass," he told the Times Argus. "I wouldn't probably vote for it myself."

Isn't this how the Trump presidential campaign began?

Lol god damn

But Rodgers suggested that he is merely trying to make a point about cellphone use and doesn’t expect the measure to pass.

And that point is?...

Seriouspost: Cellphones cause the death of a lot of people but there’s legitimate reasons to own them and they shouldn’t be arbitrarily restricted.

Like guns.

The only one who can stop a bad guy with a phone is a good guy with a phone

He started a conversation.

And that's a good thing.

Please senator san, include internet too!

Zoomer phoneposters is the reason god made Epstein, now that he’s gone he’s sent another prophet

You’re not a woman. You’re a tomboy at best.

Sen. John Rodgers, a Democrat, has introduced a bill to the state legislature that would ban cellphones for anybody under the legal drinking age.

What's with Democrats having so much boomer energy as of late? I mean, it's based boomer energy, don't get me wrong, but I thought that was the Republicans' schtick.
