I bet you that the average pharmacist will try this maybe once. No one customer facing is going to willingly provoke their customers. They're insane enough as it stands.
Its pissing in the wind too. Its like the 30 or so years the health profession spent on the smoking thing.
"Gee, maybe they don't know they should just not smoke! We should educate them! That didn't work? Ok maybe if we make the warning labels on cigarettes larger."
Obviously the pharmacists in bongland weren't screamed at enough by customers so the bureaucrats in the NHS are trying to remedy the situation. Can you even imagine the outcry if this was tried in the US
Lol, wait a year or so and we'll likely see it. Public health has no idea what the fuck to do about obesity because nothing they've tried has had any effect
"Education" is to public health what the word "Freedom" is to politics.
My advice: Spend some of those NHS billions on developing 0 calorie snacks that make you shit up a storm. Thats the only way we fix this IMO.
Isn't it fucking freaky how giving someone a gastric bypass cures their diabetes? Almost instantly. They don't even need to lose any weight, it goes poof. Just goes to show you that no matter how much time we spend probing the intestine with meat popsicles, we still understand it only a little.
One of* the next big killers in the US is going to become liver failure. Mark my words all the obese fucks are going to make their livers so fatty they won't work anymore. There's already a giant uptick in non-alcoholic fatty liver diaease/cirrhosis and it's only going to get worse if people don't stop destroying their bodies with poor diet.
Oh it won't beat out the usual diseases that kill the fatties because it takes a while. But the ones that manage to escape a coronary are going to figure out that decades of eating high carb and high fat diets destroys other organs too.
Yeah, the public health people were totally going to do studies showing their pet projects weren't working. There were also no other confounding variables that might have affected smoking like taxation or restaurant policy.
The only point you'll ever have is that you represent the sad, fedora-wearing, bloated face of capitalism in the 21st century.
Unfairly made famous and rich through copied ideas and appealing to kids. And yet is driven by some bizarre need for attention to spout insane, teenage edge lord style views. You are clearly not all that up on politics (or anything, maybe you can code?) yet your wealth has given you an oversized platform of confused 12 to 16 year olds to yell "sjwjjwjwj" at over and over again.
Honestly, I don't give a shit if you've been driven mad by fame or some bullshit. When I see amazing creative people dying depressed in poverty every day and you get to sit on twitter and make half assed 'now yur the nazi' comments, it's fucking sickening.
why would doctors not do this already? aww you're dying but it's nothing to do with the smoking or drinking or obesity because to say that would be "making fun of fatties" lol

Livers seem easier to come by from butchered chinese political prisoners for whatever thats worth.
2 AlveolarPressure 2020-01-19
They'll never get their BMI's low enough to be eligible. All the Chinese livers in the world wont help you if surgeons won't touch you
1 wm20123 2020-01-19
You'll find a mexican or an indian who will. Though truth be told only very few people are at that crazy "make a show about you" BMI.

Afaik there are actually studies that show a correlation between the use of those warnings and decline in smokers

Isn't this the same country that made some gym take down billboards cause they had a hot fit foid on it
15 theworstever 2020-01-19
Pretty sure that was London and London is a third world country that happens to exist in Bongland which is also a third world country.
14 jackcaboose 2020-01-19
that makes it a third world country squared, making it a ninth-world country
2 agent_cody_banks420 2020-01-19
Third world continent though
3 wellhellotherefellas 2020-01-19
Not billboards. Adverts in the Underground and it was ordered by Sadiq Khan because "unrealistic standards"
