When I was little my Grandma's neighbor had some desert tortoise they randomly picked up either in Southern Utah or Arizona. The neighbor used to grow strawberries and blackberries and when I was little I would pick the strawberries to feed him because I was fascinated with how he would snap at them.

He outlived the neighbor and my grandma. I think he is at some tortoise shelter thing now.

You should bring him some fruits.
